Special emphasis on the management of the online stores of Editora Escala, internally managed, and Chicco (Artsana) for the Portuguese market, managed by B2X, an Italian e-commerce full-service provider, as well as my latest international experience as a member of the VTEX EMEA Team as Head of Business Development, being responsible for starting up the company's operations in Italy.

TOTVS is Brazilian in its origin and it is the largest technology company in the country. The absolute leader in the SMB market, TOTVS creates innovative solutions to transform companies' daily lives and help them to overcome their businesses' challenges.
I joined TOTVS in February 2021, following my return to Brazil, after approximately 5 years of living in Italy. From then until the end of March 2022, I worked as a Digital Commerce Specialist, working with the offer of the VTEX platform, given that TOTVS and VTEX had established a Joint Operation in 2019. My primary line of action was mainly focused on training and the dissemination of the Digital Commerce Culture and the VTEX solution for TOTVS' internal sales teams, as well as companies in the process of Digital Transformation throughout Brazil.
In April 2022, I took on a new challenge at the company, now working as an Omnichannel Specialist and with the offer of the TOTVS Omni by Moddo solution. The scope of my work remained in the same line as before, when I worked with Digital Commerce, but now, focusing on Omnichannel operations.
Brazilian technology company specialized in e-Commerce, developer of the VTEX Commerce, a Software as a Service platform, optimized for high-performance multichannel operations, available throughout the globe.
I worked for VTEX on two different occasions. From December 2017 to March 2019 as Head of Business Development in Italy, being solely responsible for starting the company's operations in the country. I also worked as Project Manager in other EMEA countries, supporting clients and partners on the implementation of the VTEX cloud commerce platform. I had previously worked for VTEX from February 2013 to September 2015 in Brazil. Back then, I spent almost all the first year working as a Sales Manager, acting on the prospection of new clients as well as on the actual selling of VTEX solutions.
In the second year my focus was on helping the Commercial Team to become more effective, acting as a marketing support for the commercial department, carrying out several tasks, from organizing events to collect leads, to the standardization of the commercial proposals, passing thru the restructuring of the company's website, as well as to the creation of various online and offline communication pieces. Some of these pieces are available for viewing in this website's portfolio section.
During the last months I worked as Content Manager for VtexTV. My mission there was aimed at creating content that would allow VTEX clients to become more capable and more effective online retailers. In VtexTV, we generated relevant content, recorded, edited and presented TV shows that covered subjects of operational, technical, marketing, and sales scopes. In VtexTV I also worked as a Site Clinic consultant, an advisory program focused on increasing conversion rate and average ticket of VTEX clients through practical tips and suggestions for UX, layout & usability improvements.
B2X is an Italian company established in Rome, part of the ISED Group, which offers full-outsourcing or personalized digital retail solutions, building multi-channel, mono and multi-brand business strategies in Italy and abroad.
I worked for B2X in 2017 for almost the entire year as the e-Commerce Manager of the online store of Chicco (Artsana) for the Portuguese market - www.shop.chicco.pt - being directly responsible for the Promotional & the Content management and indirectly also for the Fulfillment & the Customer Service. At B2X, I also worked for a couple of months for Mercedes-Benz Italia on the OVS - Online Vehicle Sales project, as a consultant and support in the project management.
One of the ventures of the Escala Publishing Group, Editora Escala was established in March 1992 with the objective of making reading accessible to the general public and thus contribute to the cultural and socio-economic development in Brazil.
I worked for about 5 1/2 years for Editora Escala. I spent almost all the first year just as an e-Commerce Manager, being directly responsible for the team in charge of development, maintenance and updating of the e-Commerce platform, as well as for two other teams, content update, and digital marketing.
From the second year on I also became directly responsible for the management of the Customer Service team and indirectly for the fulfillment team, responsible for stock management, picking, packing, and shipping.
During my years in Editora Escala I became responsible for a series of improvements at the company's web store layout and usability, including three full redesigns. I created and sent hundreds of email marketing campaigns, designed several banners and other digital pieces. Some of these pieces I have made available to viewing on this website's portfolio section. Macmillan, present for over than 170 years in the publishing world and 25 years in Brazil, is an international publisher owned by Holtzbrinck Publishing Group. It has offices in 41 countries and operates in more than other 30.
From mid-2007 until almost the end of 2008 I was responsible for a series of improvements on the Brazilian website of Macmillan, an institutional website built with ASP, ACCESS, HTML, and CSS.
At the beginning, the job's scope was mainly aimed at content update and images editing, but with the evolution of updates it was also necessary to adjust the website's programming in order to correct, improve, or even develop some functionality, both in the front and back-end.
I was also responsible for the creation of a new Events section, where I used the same languages and technologies already used in rest of the site.
Brazilian hotel chain composed of Transamerica Sao Paulo and Transamerica Comandatuba Island hotels as well as the Transamerica Hospitality Group. It is one of the ventures of the Alfa Group, a corporate group headed by the Alpha Investment Bank.
I got into Transamerica Hotels in June 2000 as a Marketing Analyst and remained in this position for about 1 year and a half. In 2001, I took over the development and management of the hotels' first loyalty program, and in November I joined the e-Commerce team, which had just been put together.
At the beginning, my role was limited to update the content of the old company's website, which was entirely in HTML, while the new site that would also contain online booking, was being developed in parallel.
When the new site went live, I became responsible for updating its content in three different languages, such as Portuguese, English, and Spanish, as well as for the development of new pages, hot sites, banners and several other promotional pieces. I was also responsible for one complete site redesign, at the time, using various elements with Adobe Flash technology.
Clients who over the years also entrusted their brands names, their institutional or personal websites, their online portfolios, digital arts, among others, to my care, attention, development or maintenance.
